Welcome to my lifestyle blog! Words cannot express my excitement for the launch of this blog. For years now, I have dreamed of owning my own domain to share my content. I have been impatiently waiting for the day that I could own a WordPress website.
My blogging journey first started with Em Life In Style. In my sophomore year of high school, my English teacher Mrs. Myers assigned us a project to pick a theme and publish our own blog. I debated on what I wanted my blog to be about. Should I go for a food blog? Or a fashion blog? Or an advice blog? It was difficult to choose just one. Then, the idea struck me. Why couldn’t I write about life in general? I could write a lifestyle blog. With a lifestyle blog, I could talk about anything. The sky was the limit. I was not bounded to a singular theme. Surprisingly, Em Life In Style gained a lot of traction. I averaged about 150 clicks per post, and my website got its fair share of visits. It made me curious to see how far I could take this project. Do I have what it takes to post alongside some of the most influential lifestyle bloggers on the internet?
After a few years of saving, I finally had enough money to seriously pursue this passion project. It has been a long time coming. I am bursting with joy that I can finally share this project with the rest of the world. After months of hard work, the wait is finally over. Now, a piece of my soul is on the internet. I hope to use this space to share all of the things that I love — my art, music, food, and faith.
In a way, Inner Eminence is the stepping stone for me to build my confidence and explore my identity. You can read more about the inspiration behind the blog here. Stepping out into the virtual world and sharing all of the quirky and interesting parts of me will help me come out of my shell. I hope that you are able to watch me grow up on this blog. Life is a fun adventure, and I am ready to have you come along with me for the ride.
